International Workplace Group (IWG/Regus) operates over 4,000 serviced office locations, serving more than eight million customers across 120+ countries. Colmenero IO's Delivery Director was brought in to work directly with the CIO, transforming how IWG designs and builds its customer and sales applications.

Working with the IWG CIO and technical leadership team, we executed the following transformation plan:
Platform Modernisation
Transitioned from bespoke in-house systems to enterprise-grade Microsoft platforms and migrated core applications to Azure.
Application Modernisation
Fully modernised customer and sales applications.
Team Restructuring and Partner Onboarding
Restructured teams, ran RFPs to onboard new partners, hired 50+ roles across multiple delivery centres.
Delivery Governance
Established Centres of Excellence and redefined software development lifecycle, delivery governance, and budget management.
Customer App and Website Redesign
Delivered two major customer app redesigns and global website re-platforming.
M&A Integration
Integrated newly acquired companies into operating platform without operational disruption.
Innovation and AI
Executed innovation projects to deliver new products and services, and identified AI and automation opportunities across the enterprise.
The programme was delivered on time across all workstreams, with continuous software improvement releases ensuring IWG's operations were never compromised.
All targeted systems were migrated to the cloud (Azure).
Hybrid teams of internal leadership and external partners were established across IWG Centres of Excellence worldwide.
Upon programme completion, Colmenero IO transitioned its Delivery Leadership responsibilities to a newly appointed internal Global Application Delivery Director recruited as part of the programme.
